Summer Reading 2009

During the summer we are requesting that each child entering grades 1-8 read selected books from a suggested list compiled by teachers.  Many of these books can be found at local public libraries or bookstores.  We encourage all students, with the support of their parents, to read throughout the summer months.

PRIMARY GRADES
:
Children should be exposed to as many books as possible.  Parents and older siblings may be actively involved in reading aloud from the suggested lists.  Summer reading should NOT be a chore or struggle but, rather, an opportunity for students to explore literature and have fun.
