Oratory Competition
March 19, 2009
Saint Patrick School recently held an oratory competition for students in kindergarten
through grade 5.
Organized by Ms. Holly Askins, the competition is an opportunity for students to enhance
their skills in public speaking.
This year's winners include Katie Nale, Joshua Letendre, Lydia Lewis, Ashley
Pelletier, Keyli Keenan, Justine Aho, and Ryan Ferrara.
Other finalists in this year's competition include
kindergartner Julia Smith from Ms. Pavlini's class; Matthew Tango, Laela Higginbottom, Tatum Cheney, Emily Aho, and Nicole
Paquette from Mrs. Lemek's kindergarten class; Mrs. Henderson's Jonathan Kamal, Jack Gulbicki, Patrick Bernard, and
Maxwell Beland; second-grade students Pedro Guerra and Eric Cieszynski of Ms. Askins' class; Ms. Ouellette's
Matthew Ferrara and Stephanie Rossmeisl; Madison Laurent and Kayla Laurent from Mr. Denio's fourth-grade class;
and Madison Trepanier and Bradford Kamal of Mr. Curfman's fifth grade.
